• Lo Pagan is the popular beach area of San Pedro del Pinatar, on the Mar Menor in Murica
• The main market is held every Thursday in Avenida Salzillo or every Monday in San Pedro.
• Long sandy beaches have shallow water and are well equipped,
• Lo Pagan is famous for its mud baths, which are free to use and fun for all the family. The therapeutic mud, is said to be good for skin complaints, aches and pains. Dry off in the sun then re-enter the water to wash off! (Note: wear an old bathing costume and be prepared to get muddy.)
• There are many  great walking and cycling routes in the Salinas by the start of the mud baths.
• Nearby are some excellent golf courses – he closest are at Villamartin and Campoamour.
• Many local restaurants offer a fine regional cuisine and others have international fare.
• During the summer months there is a lively funfair beside the marina.
• The regional park is one of the oldest in Murcia and is a refuge to more than 100 species of birds – flamingos are regularly seen.
